3rd Class worked in groups this week to build block graphs. We surveyed the class on topics such as our favourite colours and our favourite sports. One member of the group tallied the results and then we worked together to display the data on a block graph!

What a fun day we had today! Everyone looked great in their costumes. We had a mummy - making competition and played some Halloween games. We'll done to everyone for making a super effort. Check out the photos of our great day :) We are finished presenting our Africa projects and we are officially experts on all things African! There were fun facts, musical performances and beautiful artwork included in the presentations. Miss Kelly was so impressed with our hard work. Well done to all groups and congratulatuons to 'Team Griffin' who got the best overall marks! We've been working hard all week on our 'Africa' projects. We're really excited to present them tomorrow. .. watch this space :)
Zane visited on Thursday to show us the products of our hard work in the garden last year. She let us taste a carrot and a radish- they were yum! She also taught us about The Oak Tree. We played a game where we got to be Oak Trees and woodland creatures! It was great fun. Thank you Zane for all of your hard work.
This year we've been using 'My Spelling City' to help us learn our spellings.
Welcome to 3rd & 4th Class! Here is where you'll see what we've been getting up to this year.
